All of a sudden - Read Only access via Mac
My NV+ has been performing very well. I use an Ubuntu laptop to access it (smb) , and my wife uses a Mac. (cif/smb) We each have a user account and want all the files in Shared Files to be full...
Ah yes - should have explained that better.
When using my NAS account on the Mac (where it's normally connected as my wife), I can 'connect as' myself no problem. But still only have read-only access. This makes me think it's something specific to how the NAS is talking to the Mac as opposed to a file permission setting error.
ps I've just resent the logs as you had asked on the other thread. I'll keep this problem to this thread from now on if that's best.
