App Not Installing (corrupt package) but Reported Successful
I got prompted on my RN516 to upgrade to 6.1.8 today. Checked release notes and it looked pretty innocuous, so I went for it. Later, I was working on installing RC1 for DVBLink v5 and ran into a serious problem, from /var/log/readynasd/install_debpkg.log:
Worse, when I went back to install the previously installed and working v4 it failed with precisely the same messages. :( Downloading 6.1.7 now to revert and attempt again on that OS release. Not sure what changed, but it seems to be causing some headaches.

- btaroliProdigyNope... still happening on 6.1.7. Need to diagnose further... :(
- btaroliProdigyugh... I'll accept some user error here. Actual issue was truncated download. 6MB vs 32MB
BUT... why did the UI report success? - Similar problem (but not cause) here. My package is 27.3 MB (downloaded for DVBlink site -dvblink-server-netgear-linux-r6-arm-5.0.0) and reports success but it's not 'there'. Downloaded 3 time on different machines so sure this is what's on the site. Log shows:

Suggestions on how to get this installed please? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHave you tried installing it via the upload button for Apps in the Dashboard?
- That's exactly what I have been doing. I have found however that despite downloading from the web a total of 5 times using 2 different PCs the downloads are ALL in fact corrupt in different ways - I think the source server has problems!
