So now I have a brand new NAS but I'd like to know how to duplicate the data from the disk I switched of which has all ma data.

    Unfortunately you'll need to

    • power down the NAS
    • remove the existing disks (labeling them by slot)
    • insert the disk you removed before
    • power up the NAS
    • copy the data off to another location

    Then

    • Power down the NAS
    • remove the disk
    • insert the disks you removed in the earlier step (putting them into the same slots)
    • power up the NAS
    • recreate the shares (if needed)
    • restore the data from the backup.

What you should have done is connected the spare disk to a PC, and backed up the data over the network to it.  Then done a factory reset, and restored the data over the network.
