Backup Failing "due to unknown reason"
I have a a ReadyNAS 2100 running RAIDiator 4.2.22. I have setup a single backup job to do a full backup from "Volume: c" to the "USB Device (Front Port)". The USB drive is a 2TB WD and was formated EXT3 via FrontView.
The job runs for several hours and the log shows lots of files copied. Then it just ends with:
Backup failed. Wed Apr 3 18:36:14 EDT 2013.
Reason for failure:
Error encountered copying data from source path ==> /OffSite001/ due to unknown reason. Please see log.
I have rebooted the ReadyNAS several times. I have tried reformatting the USB drive. And I have tried two other USB drives as well. All end in the same manner.
