Backup finished = Backup successful ?

Thanks - I downloaded all the system logs to get the complete backup log, and "Backup finished" is all it states at the end, along with date and time of completion. If there were errors, would they have also been listed at the end of the log? I don't see explicit mention of errors elsewhere (assuming they'd be indicated by the word "error"), but also don't see explicit mention that there weren't errors either, hence the uncertainty.
