BACKUP FTP on READYNAS success but no content copied.

Have set up FTP settings to copy hosted files back on to my RN for backup reasons.

Task completes with successful message, however no content actually gets copied across.

I have more than one FTP backup running on the RN because I have various sites which are hosted with different providers.

All the other FTP backups run without problem, apart from this one which is provided by a different provider.

I can FTP with my desktop app, no problems, and can few the content etc. etc.

Log all say success on each attempt...

It feels like it connects but doesn’t see a directory/file structure to copy.

any suggestions appreciated.

You've likely already verified the user/password and the remote path.  But the path might be worth a second look.

    Is the site using ftps?

What model ReadyNAS and what firmware is it running?

no, nothing as exciting just plain ftp..

      version 6.6.0

I dont want to update this machine at the moment its been running fine for last  few months, its just this one ftp backup as the others are okay , only the provider is changed.

they are obviously doing something different just not sure what or how to figure it out

If you can get a log from the FTP server, that should let you diagnose what is going on.

If not, perhaps log into a site that works with an FTP client, and look at the default directory you are placed in.  Then note the path syntax in the backup job. Then compare that with the site that fails (also seeing what the default directory is).
