BACKUP FTP on READYNAS success but no content copied.
Have set up FTP settings to copy hosted files back on to my RN for backup reasons. Task completes with successful message, however no content actually gets copied across. I have more than one FT...

You might check your client logs and confirm that the server supports passive mode. It seems to me that it would have to, but it is still worth confirming.
There'a s similar FTP thread here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Backing-up-to-your-ReadyNAS/How-to-backup-sync-using-FTP-to-ReadyNAS/m-p/1219103/highlight/true#M13761 where the server only used active mode, and that resulted in similar symptoms.

yeah, I tried that with my default client.
The client root location is fine and works no problem from with in it.
I dont imagine the host will want to provided me logs. but i guess no harm asking.
