BackUp from 312 to external USB full disk
I wanted to backup my timemachine share to an external USB drive (formatted on a NVX as ext4).
I plugged it (on the front port), create a Backup job and started the process.
Then I though I forgot to set the "Remove the content of the destination etc." option. I could see on the System page of the dashboard that the external disk was almost full and though, let's see what will happen.
On the performance page, I could see some disk activity which stopped after a while. The external disk was full. So I waited for some error, or warning, or whatever. Nothing.
I could still browse the external drive.
So I cancelled the job, but the status of the job stood on "Canceling…". So I ejected the disk, this worked!
I corrected the job, and started it again. But nothing happens: the status of the job is "In Progress", the disk is not emptied and nothing is copied on it.

- pdelgesGuideHi mdgm! Thanks for your answer.
I finally reformatted the disk on a NVX and started the job again.
Interestingly, the external drive was not full, and not empty neither (old files were still there), so I don't know what the 312 finally did. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhat version of ReadyNAS OS are you running?
- pdelgesGuide6.1.4.
