Backup from Custom Program slow since 6.9.0 ReadyNAS 314
I have a custom software package named StorMan, for the Self Storage industry, and now after updating to the new 6.9.0 firmware when I do a backup in StorMan software which is located on my PC's c : drive to the NAS drive s: , the backup takes about 10 minutes when before it took the NAS firmware update it would take 30 seconds. I can copy a large file from the C: drive to the S: drive using Windows explorer and it is fine, really quick.
Any ideas.
I have turned off the Antivirus, Firewall, still the same, slow.
I am running Windows 7 Pro.

I wonder if it could be a similar issue to the bug with Veeam software that wrongly assumes support for a SMB feature that we don’t support.
Thanks mdgm, I might get some more information from StorMan to see how the backup process communicates and post it here soon.
