readynas backup
I just "upgraded" to OS 6.6 from 6.51 and can't do a backup from my PC to my ReadyNas312. When I try to do it manually, the staus goes to "in-process" but never finishes. The log does not show any errors but shows that I cancelled the process. Everything worked correctly before upgrading firmware. I can access my files on readynas from my computer and can darg and drop from one to the other, it just doesn't work when I try to use the (incremental) backup method. This ocuured when I upgraded from 6.51 to 6.52 but I downgraded back to 6.51 and evrything was fine. Now that I went up to 6.6, I can't seem to downgrade back to 6.1. This has become very frustrating. Any suggestions?
The suggestive do answer is certainly one way to go. For a more complete discussion on my backup issues can be seen in my thread in Tech Support. I urge those having problems with scheduled backups to look at the answer in that thread. Thanks for your interest and help.

Hi miked4u,
Unfortunately, you can no longer downgrade when you go to 6.6.0. Regarding your back-up, have you tried creating a new back-up job? Or maybe create some test shares and test back-up.

Yup, I created a new backup with a test file and share, but had no luck. When I configured the backup, I was able to connect with the source share. The light on the readynas indicates a backup is in progress as does the status on the admin page, but nothing gets transferred and the process never ends. I am open to other sugesstions.
