readynas backup
I just "upgraded" to OS 6.6 from 6.51 and can't do a backup from my PC to my ReadyNas312. When I try to do it manually, the staus goes to "in-process" but never finishes. The log does not show any ...

The suggestive do answer is certainly one way to go. For a more complete discussion on my backup issues can be seen in my thread in Tech Support. I urge those having problems with scheduled backups to look at the answer in that thread. Thanks for your interest and help.

Of course Win10 is also a bit of a moving target with its own update cycle.
You could double-check the credentials the NAS is using to access the PC share. You can do that by trying to mount the PC share from another PC using the same credentials.
Do you want to reconsider the robocopy idea? Personally I've always run backup programs or scripts on the PCs, and reserved the ReadyNAS backup jobs for backing up the NAS itself.
