Try resetting the owner/group to nobody/nogroup on the ultra. Click on the CIFS icon for the share, then the "advanced" tab on the top right. You can enter the owner, group, and permissions there - then check the box next to the "Set ownership and permission for existing files...". After that you click apply (bottom right). The checkbox will clear, and the operation continues in the background. There will be a pop-up when it completes.
This issue could also be a permission problem on the NSLU2. Perhaps the destination account/password isn't properly set? Or perhaps the NAS has permission to create new files on the NSLU2, but doesn't have permission to delete/replace old ones.
