Backup to USB drive fails
I have tried to use a Powered Seagate USB drive (Mystorage 3.0) to backup the data folders on our Netgear Readynas 314. The external backup drive has been cleanly formatted with Seagate's Format util...

No network would be too slow..
I think I'll buy a new external USB 3.0 drive and try that.
Any that you'd recommend for this job?

I'm using Transcend 2TB units, but I had problems in the beginning with the format performed by the ReadyNas not being recognized when connected to a windows machine. The solution for me was to format NTFS on a windows machine, then use it on the ReadyNas. No problems since.
