BIOS Update with OS 6?
I just recently acquired a Ultra 6 Plus and looking around I noticed certain revisions have had BIOS updates and I'm wondering if my unit needs one. Looking at the log it reports... product_versio...
With SSH, you could install flashrom and dmidecode via apt-get and do it manually. I haven't done this for quite a while but it can be done.
You can get the BIOS ROM, by extracting the contents of the add-on. Be sure to use the correct ROM for your NAS. If you use the wrong one you will brick your system.
