Broken file cannot be deleted

Problem Solved!!! Required a power down and power up of the ReadyNAS :D

My Mac hung up and had to be rebooted. After doing so my itunes wont load stating one of the files (Extras.itdb) on my ReadyNAS is locked.

The share the file is on is an AFP share. I have made sure the share has enabled all users to read and write. When I attempt to do the following:

Open Terminal (You should find it in Applications/Utilities)
In the new window type "rm " - (Don't type the quote marks, just the letter 'r' followed by 'm' and a space after the letter 'm')
Drag the problem file from finder to the terminal window (You should see that additional text is added after the "rm "command - that is the location & name of the file and dragging this to terminal saves typing that info and getting it wrong)
Press enter

I get the following error in in the terminal window "/Volumes/...../Extras.itdb: Resource busy"

How do I clear this condition?

Maybe enable HTTP access to the share, and delete the file with from the web interface.

(Or does the "problem solved" mean that the restart of the NAS fixed it for you...)
