BT-Sync app file permissions

Bittorent sync is using system credentials, not your own personal credentials, that's what explaining this behaviour.
the "top" command issued via SSH gives this :
20770 admin 19 -1 52216 3700 3128 S 3.0 0.7 0:00.11 btsync
This means that user admin has to have read / write access to the folder you need btsync to write in.
That said, I'm not sure you can give rights to personal folders via web interface, you might have to use SSH for that.
If you are not using home folders extensively, I would suggest creating dedicated folders for BTSync and setting appropriate rights on them, it seems easier and doesn't require SSH.
