I fully agree with you on the point where the share and file access of my Readynas is really annoying me.
I can't seem to get the share and file access to my data working smoothly.
I'm running into numerous errors
- files in use
- files not showing in CIFS but available in HTTP and FTP.
- media share not visible (bug in latest firmware apparently).
- interoperability between my Windows clients and the NAS shares.
- Offline files not working
Furthermore, I'm close to becoming an Linux expert (which I don't want b.t.w.), but configuring this thing requires access to the core.
I'm close to selling this thing.
Have you been able to fix these issues or did you sell it already? :-)
