Hi , I have a Readynas NV+ v2 Is there any way to format an external USB-drive via the dashboard? You can set the frequency of the full backup but how do you know if it is differential or increment...

Johk,
Not sure what you mean it can't be opened. Do you mean it cannot be accessed from the ReadyNAS? Have you tried connecting the drive to your computer? To see if the ReadyNAS is detecting the USB drive plug it in and then log-in into the admin GUI and go to "Volumes/USB Storage" and it will tell you if it is detecting the drive or not. If not make sure it's formatted correctly.
As for the script error are you accessing the ReadyNAS locally (from the same network) or remotely (over the internet)? If locally you may need to do an OS Re-install.
