When you open a command prompt are you able to ping the NAS?
If so, can you open a command prompt and type this command:
You should see something like this:
Open "My Computer" and then look for the "N" drive.
If there's an error, please paste the error message here.
C:\>ping 192.168.0.2
Pinging 192.168.0.2 with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 192.168.0.2: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.2: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.2: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.0.2: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64
Ping statistics for 192.168.0.2:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms
If so, can you open a command prompt and type this command:
net use N: \\192.168.0.2\backup
You should see something like this:
C:\>net use N: \\192.168.0.2\backup
The command completed successfully.
Open "My Computer" and then look for the "N" drive.
