Cannot Access NAS from Windows 7 anymore

A few other questions:
1. What firmware version is installed on your NAS?
2. What security mode is the unit set to - share mode or user mode?
3. Are you able to connect to the NAS using a different device or operating system?
If you're able to connect using a different OS or computer, then the issue is likely with the Win 7 x64 PC (although if your NAS is set to "share" mode security, I believe Win 7 will not connect which is why I asked question #2).
If you are unable to connect with any other device, you're running the latest firmware (4.1.7) and the unit is set to user mode security, then you could always try a firmware re-installation. This does not affect your data or shares, but it will reset your network settings back to default values (DHCP) and your admin password (netgear1). Everything will remain untouched:
