Cannot Access NAS from Windows 7 anymore
Firts, Please be kind. First time I have had any problems with the NAS and first post on this forum. Secondly I am not into network speak so I may give information that you may find of little use ...

I am posting this reply about 2 years after the last reply. I had the same problem as originally described.
Definitely reinstall the OS as a first step. (Some replies also referred to the OS as the firmware - they mean the same.) I believe that how to reinstall the OS is described above, but, if not, it is in the manual. Reinstalling the OS resets the internet protocol and the network connection.
I also had a problem getting the backup button to scroll through the boot menu options, but finally got it to work. I reinstalled the OS once and it did not change the issue. I reinstalled the OS a second time and now my NAS is back on my network and all the attached devices are recognized.
