Thanks for your reply!
I followed your sugestion and installed linux-reader. It can read the disk 1, and the share directory structure is there.
While some of the data is there (the older files than I have a backup of...), most of the files are gone, linux-reader says "There are no recoverable files in this folder"...
Any suggestions?

The lost data is likely a result of the unexpected power cut. You might need a recovery service to get it back. Seagate offers one, as does Netgear. Western Digital doesn't offer their own, but there are partners listed on their web site.
There are tools you can buy if you want to attempt the recovery yourself. But I haven't done this myself, so I have no recommendations.
