Cannot delete on NV+ v2
Hey guys, new to the NV+ v2 and have tried searching previous posts but for the life of me I cannot find the "Advanced Options" tab every one seems to refer to. I copied a heap of files and folders from a USB drive and now if I try to delete any files/folders from the NAS I get the "The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items." error. NAS Currently running RAIDiator 5.3.7. and has 4x WD 1TB AV-GP WD10EURX hdd's and MacBook is running OSX 10.8.2. I try to delet them from the finder via the AFP or CIFS when I get this error.

- hanske1AspirantHello
I have the same problem with my private home account files and folders. I have no write access to my own home directory, and must log in as admin to manage files in it. Have tried to change owner in the Finder, but it says I have no permission to do so. I have full read and write access to the shares I create, however. I can't seem to find a way to manage permissions for this directory. In Windows, you can apparently right click a file and folder and manage the permissions. No such option in the Mac Finder, there is no security item in the menu that pops up. How can I fix the permissions using Mac OS X? - HERBIEOAspirantHave a read on page 34-35 of the manual http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS%20ARM-PLATFORM%20%28DUO%20V2,%20NV+%20V2%29/RAIDiator%205.3%20SW%20Manual_5Sep12.pdf it explains how to set permissions and reset permissions if you are having problems.
