Cannot remove folder(s) from Ready NAS

True but as you say 'Most" and not all. Thats the problem.

I am the only user and lets say I copy a folder over with content. All is well. Come back a couple of days and then one doesn't have permissions to delete or even write to the folder (the permissions are lost). Its random, no logic that I can see. I use CIFS share access, the latest firmware.
I have been troubleshooting this for years now and as indicated on 3 different NAS's. There is no reason nor Logic that I can spot. It is so annoying and the reason I gave up. I don't give up easily either as I do IT Support and take pleasure out of trouble shooting. I kept the Pro2 as a test unit.....................and as a matter of fact had to do a Permission reset on it again the other day. Once again a folder that I was saving stuff to suddenly "Out of the blue" became "No Write Permissions". I could only smile!
PS: Connecting as admin to the root doesn't always help either (however one shouldn't have to do that). At this point I still can't sell to clients as there would be way to much support involved. Imagine having to constantly reset permissions! Not good.
