This is a work around but hopefully gets fixed by Netgear. I also have the same issue I have regarding a backup to USB in that I get error reports saying that the backup job has failed because the destination is read only,when USB drives are changed over.
The USB backup job fails and will only run if I delete the current backup job and create a new one, then I can start a USB backup which will continue to run as scheduled daily until I swap USB drives, a real pain! Any suggestions?
