Have you done the volume maintenance and completed all task again? It is advisable not to update or do any processes if there are issues present on the NAS more of it involves data and the disks.
I would suggest running the volume maintenance tasks and let it finish. You may want to download the full logs. If you want to take a look on SSH then you may want to follow the threads below:

Are you seeing which volume is filling? If so, is there a specific share that seems too large?
Check that volume quota is enabled (on the volume settings wheel) before you look for this.
