Can't login to ReadyNas102 anymore
HI all,
have a problem with my readyNas 102. Today I had a power interuption and when power was back up again my ready nas was starting automatically. I tried to login over web browser but without success. Cant get any connection over three different pcs. Tried Firefox and IE - no chance! But the strange thing is that I can still see all my drives from the NAS over Windows explorer. I just can't access the admin page...
Any ideas?
Best regards,
Florian

- lucaviolaAspirantHallo, I have the same problem.
I decided to do a factory restore on my naso to clean it completly because I need to use it for other porpouses than last.
I follow the procedure correctly and from Raidar all the parameters are changed, but if I try to setup my browser says that can't reach the serever (192.168.0.101 is the new IP assigned to the nas).
Do you find any solution?
I tryed also to restore OS, but nothing has canged, still doesn't work. - vandermerweMasterDoes raidar see it?
What is the IP address of your PC? - FlomerTutorHi all,
want to update you on my topic. I was in contact with Netgear support but they wouldn't help me because I'm out of 90 days period. I was a bit disapointed but took it as it is.
I decided to set my nas back to factory defaults because I think this was the last thing I could do! Unfortunately I lost also all my data on it and took me lot of time setting it up new again. Maybe Netgear can find a way resetting machine without loosing stored data on it?!? Would have so many advantages because I guess not all people having more than one backup... Anyway... It's up and running and hope it's not screwing up again.
I still have one question. After copying all my data from my backup-nas (ReadyNas duo V1) there is a difference in disk usage but I thought all data are the same now. The strange thing is the "usage bars" in Windows explorer are the same. Is there just a difference in storage efficiency? Please find attached a screenshots of my network drives. The disk usage in backup-nas is more than in the flomer-nas. But I don't think I missed something... Any ideas??
Thanks, Florian

The Duo uses a larger block size so files will take up a little more space on it.
Are you sure you have backed up everything from the Duo? Do you use home shares on your Duo? - FlomerTutorI tried an OS-reinstall before but without success. I checked everythin again and it seems all data are there.
You confirmed what I thought before - the duo takes a bit more space with similar data copmared to the 102.
I guess I'm back up again to my last status.
BUT - it was a lot of work which I don't have normally. But it was needed...
