Certificate for ReadyNAS NV+ not valid?
When I use RAIDar to sign onto my ReadyNAS NV+, the certificate is evidently not valid as the HTTPS shows with a red slash through it. I am warned about when I do it after every reboot and I am sure...

This happens all the time, and isn't specific to Windows-10. The exact behavior depends on the browser. All my NAS (NV+ through OS 6) generate these warnings.
ReadyNAS use self-signed certificates, which by definition can't be verified by a certificate authority. That by itself creates this warning. Also, sometimes the IP address used in the certificate is outdated (the NAS is currently using a different IP address).
You can solve the IP address issue by simply going into services, set the IP address in SSL key host, and then click on generate new key.
The self-signed issue can be overcome by adding the NAS certificate to the trusted root store of the PC or Mac. The procedure can be googled, and is OS specific.
Personally I don't worry about it, and just click through. The procedures above don't improve the security, they just make the error go away.
