Change static ip address of ReadyNAS Duo?
I recently moved my ReadyNAS Duo from my network at home to another network and I can't access it from FrontView or USB. I noticed in Raidar that the readynas has the same IP address as it had at the ...
I presume you have the Duo v1 (runs RAIDiator 4.1.x) not the new Duo v2 (released Nov 13th 2011 and runs RAIDiator 5.3.x)?
EIther do a OS Re-install (http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu), which resets the network settings and leaves data intact (you turn NAS off, then once it has shutdown press and hold reset button, turn NAS on, continue to hold reset button and release reset button after about 5 seconds - first blink of disk LEDs)
Or, do a direct-connection (http://sphardy.com/web/directconnect), change the IP address on your PC to be in the same range as the NAS (subnet mask will most likely need to be the standard 255.255.255.0) and then login to Frontview and reset the NAS's network settings to pickup an IP address via DHCP.
It's already Christmas Day in some places down here, I should get some sleep.
