What you need to do is temporarily reset the PC NIC card (NOT the router) to use static address. Use a mask of 255.255.255.0 and a static IP of 192.168.0.1, and you will be able to connect to the NAS. After you reset the NAS, revert back to the automatic address assignment on the PC nic card.

192.168.0.100
And our router is using:
192.168.1.254
It won't accept a change to 192.168.0.x so that option is out. I'll look into an OS reset but it seems drastic. I only really want to copy a couple of films off to watch at home on Christmas.
