Checking a NAS for Malware

The NAS antivirus scans the shares, AFAIK it does not scan the OS partition.
Backdoor/cycbot is a windows-only trojan (https://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2010-103008-0555-99&tabid=2) So it wouldn't be infecting the NAS, since it runs linux..

Thanks for confirmation of what I suspected was true--the virus noted is a PC virus not a Mac or iOS. Thank you for reminding me, how ever rare it is, that iOS maleware exists.
