Checking fs...
After i accidently pressed the power button too long, my brand new ultra 4 shut down immediately now it won't boot anymore. It is stuck on checking fs for 2 days now. What now?

- I guess that one of your disks has been damaged,you'd better to check each disk's condition using HDD diagnostic tool on your PC.
- Just for the record: I contacted Netgear support, and they gave me instructions to reinstall the firmware. This just copies the os, resets network settings and admin password. After that, the nas started an fs check which just took a few minutes. Then it booted and all my data, plugins and settings were available. Great!
It did do a raid resync to one of the disks though, so i might do some thorough volume and disk checking and keep a spare drive available in case something happens.
