Converting X-RAID2 dual redundancy to single without losing the datas?

Hello,

I have a ReadyNas Ultra 6 (RAIDiator 4.2.28) with 6x4TB installed, X-RAID2 with dual redundancy.

It is almost full so I wanted to convert it to single redundancy to gain 4 TB of free space. Is it possible to do this conversion without losing all the datas?

Thanks.

  • to set up a new raid configuration u have to destroy original volume/array. this will wipe all data.

    so the answer is no.
