Copy to nas with rsync
Hi, I try to backup my linux laptop to the nas using rsync, but I get connection refused. I have set up the backup share to be accessible with rsync. What have I missed? Regards, Bjørn bjorn@linu...

Thank you, I got something running now. I was looking for a way to run rsync on the lap-top and push the data onto the ReadyNAS, but this documentation led me to set up a back-up job on the NAS to pull data from the lap-top. The rsync deamon has to be started on the lap-top. This will work, too.

Putting a value into the path-field on the back-up job was not straight forward. Instead of just the path to the directory to back up it needed a rsync module name. This is explained in the link above.
