could not open file: xxx in text writing
Hi,
Here is my setup:
Users in this group can log in and get read-only access to the files but can't create files or directories or upload:
So it seems as if the user doesn't actually have read/write access just read-only. The users were created after the files and directories already existed. Not sure if this matters.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions for a fix.
Here is my setup:
- ReadyNAS Duo running RAIDiator 4.1.10 [1.00a043]
- HTTPS share that has default access 'read/write' for a group I've called external
- WebDAV is disabled
Users in this group can log in and get read-only access to the files but can't create files or directories or upload:
- adding a file >>> 'could not open file: xxx in text writing'
- creating a directory >>> 'Could not make directory.'
- upload >>> dialog disappears but no indication file is uploaded
So it seems as if the user doesn't actually have read/write access just read-only. The users were created after the files and directories already existed. Not sure if this matters.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions for a fix.
