Crashplan 4.70 on ReadyNAS Pro 6 with OS 6
Hi, Has anyone managed to get crashplan 4.7 working on OS 6 yet? The reason I am asking is as I know as from 16th May any device that is backing up to Crashplan's servers will need version 4....

glibc version 2.19 is newer than glibc 2.9, so it meets the minimum requirements for crashplan. glib 2.9 dates back to 2008, 2.19 was released in 2014. https://sourceware.org/glibc/wiki/Glibc%20Timeline
I suspect your install failure might have another cause.

Thanks for that, it makes total sense, I don't know why I thought it was older.
Anyway after a few restarts of my readynas (I switch it off most nights) crashplan seems to be OK. I don't know how it's now working to be honest, I tried lots of things to fix it and nothing seemed to work at the time but as I've said it now seems to be back up and running again (the new 4.7 version as well).
