Creating a file listing
HI
I would like a way to creat a file listing , with seperate fields for for example file name, path, creation date etc
I wish to do this so I can compare 2 NAS units contents , I transferred to a new NAS (202) and did not do staight copy over as I wished to change the file/folder tree, I now wish to check wether I have everything I wish to transfer, nothng important left behind.
Once I have the 2 listings I seem to rember by using a database programe I can find the differences , I'll have to dig deep into my memory to remember how !

I am unsure if this is something that can be done at the backend of the NAS. Lets wait for someone in the community that can suggest a better way to do this.
