Devices List

The other day I opened the Orbi app and opened the device list and the display was a bit different, it had devices listed by band (2.4hz, 5hz, 6hz) and I think it also had a toggle for each device (to turn off/on?)  Since then, the display is back to the "generic" list of devices.  Not sure how I got the other display, can't find a setting for it, but would like to have it back.

  • Yeah, that view you saw was probably part of a recent Orbi app update or a test feature they were trying out. It sometimes shows up briefly and then goes back to the regular list after an update or restart. There isn’t a setting to switch to the band-sorted view yet, but it’ll likely return once Netgear rolls it out fully. Just make sure your app’s up to date for when it does.

What version is this Orbi app?  ( 2.49.0.5034 )

My Android Orbi app has a symbol in the upper right that looks sort of like a funnel and offers choices on how to display Connected Devices.

birdsafe Can you confirm that this symbol does not appear in the upper right of the Connected Devices screen?

Yes, it does - if only I can still get that new view that you are showing in the image.  The filter button does appear on both the current and "test" screen you are showing.

I do not have a "Test" version of the Orbi app.  My version was updated automatically from the Google Play Store (as it always is).

p.s. I have an old cell phone that is no longer in use.  It has Orbi app version 2.44.0.4515 on it, and the Filter Icon appears in the corner the same way it does on the current app.

When I click on the Filter Icon, that causes the box to appear giving choices about which devices to display and how to sort them.
