Dead NAS RN102 after update
Hello! I tried to upgrade my NAS from version 6.1.* (kernel 3.0.93.RN_ARM.1) to the latest version (file ReadyNASOS-6.8.0-arm.img), followed all official instructions and got dead NAS in the end....

I think some necessary code to update to 6.4.0 (or later) wasn't functioning back on that firmware, but really you should have updated to newer firmware than 6.1.x quite a long time ago now.
You could prepare a USB Boot Recovery key and try that. Note not all USB keys are compatible. I would give it plenty of time to run before concluding an attempt has failed.
If it's still not resolved we can make further suggestions.

Hello DeadNAS,
Can you describe the LED activities of the NAS after the update? I'm sorry to hear this.

Thank you for the reply JennC.
LED activity is very usual as if NAS is fully operable. Power and Active leds are on, Disk1/2 are off. No traffic from device (checked with wireshark by mac-address), no reaction to buttons.
