Define file/folder share on NAS with U/P combo from Asus dev

If ReadyDLNA is turned on in the pro, start by turning it off (at least for now). See if that changes the behavior.
The NAS should look like a PC as far as the O!Play is concerned. You should be able to see each share at the top level, but you will need to traverse folders within the share.
Have you configured shares on the Pro yet? Also, are you wanting shortcuts for the NAS on the PC????
