deleting files does not free up disk space
The files are deleting. I have double checked by sshing to the box. I have deleted gigs of files but the amount of space reported using df -m does not ever go up. Is there something that needs to be done to purge the files permanently like recycle bin on windows?

- forgot to mention that I have a readynas 102 with latest firmware.
- The files are probably in /data/.purge
