Deleting ISCSI LUN's on ReadyNAS ?
Hi - I have two 750GB ISCSI Targets on a ReadyNAS 3100 Target: data1 LUN0: data1 Target: data2 LUN0: data2 I want to delete the data2 LUN When I click the X button next to the data2 ...
LUNs are within targets, not the other way around.
So Target data1 LUN 0 is different from Target data2 LUN 0.
The reason we word it that way, is because you can have multiple LUNs on each target. For example, if you had data2 LUN 0, LUN 1, LUN 2, deleting data 2 would wipe out 3 LUNs all at once. I guess the best way to think of it is like the target is a share and the LUNs inside are individual files.
