Deleting Time Machine sparsebundle
I just started using my new RN102 and had no difficulty configuring Time Machine but unfortunately, after backing up about 300GB of 450GB there was an interruption in the connection for some reason (I was using ethernet) and after using RAIDar to reconnect, Time Machine started to limp along and only backed up 300KB in an hour. I figured something was wrong so I tried to stop and resume using the Time Machine CP and the same happened.
I searched on here how to delete the sparsebundle to start again and have not had much success using methods other people have used.
SSH seems to fail, when I enter ssh root@192.168.0.2 (my ReadyNAS's IP address), I get this from Terminal:
ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.2 port 22: Connection refused
So I shelved the SSH method and tried mounting the .timemachine image and deleting the sparsebundle using the finder but unfortunately, after many hours, nothing seemed to be happening and Finder stopped responding and needed to be forced to restart.
As the SSH route looks to be quicker, can anybody tell me what I should do?

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredGo to https://[ReadyNAS]/admin/browse.html#path=%2F[volume]%2F.timemachine
Where [ReadyNAS] is the I.P. address of the NAS and [volume] is the name of your data volume
You should then be able to select the sparsebundle and delete it. - LeofwineTutorI had tried that before but could't see .timemachine listed. I now realise that I was actually in the folder and that the folder I could see which has the same name as my account folder was actually the folder containing the Time Machine backup. Thanks.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAh you are using the private Time Machine backup not the global one.
- LeofwineTutorThere didn't seem any point using the shared TM as I am the only person with access to the RN.
