I'I just tested it and reproduced the same behavior. There is nothing "wrong with the NAS".
In my opinion, this is a bug, or an annoying limitation.
1. Inserted a USB stick in the NAS.
2. Created a backup job that points to the USB stick (USB share), with scheduled enabled.
3. Ejected the USB stick from the NAS.
4. Tried to disable the schedule. I get the error "be sure to correct errors".
5. Under Destination, "Type" is in red and value is "No longer exists".
I'm running 6.7.1-T252
Workarounds I can think of: delete the job or change the destination to a USB port instead of a USB share.

I can disable it there but when I go to 'apply' the settings it displays an error window with a message "Be sure to correct errors".
There is no problem enabling/disabling jobs when the hard drive is attached, only when not connected.
Firmware version is currently 6.6.1 but this has occurred for a very long time now so would not be related to this version.

I should add that any changes to a job (not just the 'enable schedule') cannot be saved.

Thanks for your replies.
I have tried Firefox, Chromium and Android Internet on a tablet and all will not let me save the changes.
I assume from the replies that I should still be able to edit jobs even though the destination drive is not connected. Is this a correct assumption?
Is any data, other than the actual files being backed up, written to the destination drive?

Hello t_Cat,
With the fact that it won't save the changes you make, it means that there is something wrong with the NAS. Probably the FW. Have you tried checking if you get the same after a reboot?
