Disk capacity expansion error. resize2fs

I replaced the four 350GB drives in my ReadyNAS NV with 2TB drives (one at a time, of course), but after the last disk came up and rebooting, the system failed to increase the storage. What does expansion error "RESIZE2FS" mean, and what can I do to cause the expansion to succede? I am running RAID-X, and RAIDiator 4.1.12 [1.00a043]. Thanks for any suggestions.

You last did a factory reset on RAIDiator 3.x or earlier.

Backup your data and do a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) via System > Update > Factory Default then restore your data from backup.
  • Pretty brutal, but thx for the fast response. I was hoping there was a way to expand w/o wiping data, but I guess that was just marking hype.

If you had used smaller capacity disks expansion would have been possible.

But you are trying to expand past 5TB which isn't possible when you last did a factory reset on RAIDiator 3 or earlier. Understandable there would be some limitations when his a system that has not been factory defaulted for several years.
