Disk Full - Cannot delete SnapShots

Sometimes it can take a little while for the space to be reclaimed.
A balance sometimes helps, but it will struggle with a 95% full volume.

I did run a balance, defrag, and scrub, Friday before starting the removal of files - there was a slight change in available space - 687G to 694G, ....

I hear you. But now you've removed more, and running all the files through the btrfs allocator might help. A balance will do that.

Don't run any more volume maintenance till you have backed up what you can.
