Disks from Stora MS2110

Hi!

I had an MS2110 Stora earlier. This NAS suddenly stopped working and I got an Nasready Duo instead from the shop, since they didn't have the Ms2110 in shop anymore.
The disks that were installed in the Stora is most certanly not corrupt since it was problem with the internal powersupply(we tested of course with an new power adapter. the unit was completely dead, not even lights in the lightdiodes).

My question:

Is it possible to put these two disks(1TB) into the Nasready Duo and access my data?
I have read something that the Stora used the XFS filesystem and the Nasready Duo uses the ext3. My hope is that the Nasready duo also can access the XFS

Regards,
Svein-Arne

    No.
  • The only way we know of to retrieve the data is to somehow get the stora to boot back up.

This is why we beat the drum of never trusting your data to a single storage unit.
