Download folder Sabnzbd
Hello, When Sabnzbd places an folder in the download folder the permissions are set with the admin account. I have created my own account "Guido" and I am the owner of the download folder. But n...
Makes sure permissions on downloaded files are set to 777 within the SABnzbd WebGUI. (Folders Menu Item).
Quick fix for already downloaded files is to open up the share in Frontview, then go to the advanced tab, and use the "Set ownership and permission for existing files and folders in this share to the above settings." option to reset permissions for all files and folders in that share to the user account specified in the "Share folder owner:" item. You might also want to set the group too, otherwise, the way I understand it, only THAT user (and not the group he belongs to) will have read/write/delete privileges on the files once they are reset.
It won't however stop the admin user saving further files to the share, as his privileges are higher than a regular user's.
