DUO: Each boot = fsck.ext2

Tried it and unfortunately running the scripts they never completed. I had to manually turn the NAS off.
You might need to try doing what's suggested here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=46149 or simply use Frontview.
