Duo v2 admin recovery
So far, I have not had trouble accessing Frontview. I checked the "remember my credentials," and I can proceed.
How do I, though, retrieve the security information I used for my password? Generally, I make note (and place in "hiding") when I make or change a password. Apparently, I did not in this case.
I welcome any suggestions.
Happy New Year!!!

- chirpaLuminaryWhat happens if you try accessing https://IP/password_recovery/ ?
- KnorskeAspirantchirpa...I get the message of "temp password sent to your e-mail"--but, I have not yet received the temporary password, and I now have no access to Frontview.
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserAn OS reinstall (not a factory default) will reset the password to "password" and change the IP configuration to use DHCP. Other settings remain intact. If you can't log in anymore that may be your only option. Doing the OS reinstall is a bit of a pain from the v2, since there is no LCD panel. Be careful not to do a factory default!
If you can get in (or for future reference) -
If you are using FireFox, it will show you the remembered password if you ask it. Tools->options->saved passwords has a "show passwords" control.
You can also change the ReadyNAS password without needing to type in the old one. So if you can get in through the remembered password, you can reset it without using the password recovery feature.
